… in which Jake and Mako talk about getting humbled! We've all been there, haven't we? When you level up, and with your new-found power you decide that you're most likely invincible? Wolfy brings it this week as Tobias becomes squid food, Magnus stares down ancient constructs of his ancestors, Terro atop George gets shot from the sky, Boddington plays "cat and mouse" with a mousehole that's too small, and Violette … well, actually, Violette ends up getting a nice bonus from Kria. Perhaps she knows what she's doing.
… in which Jake and Mako get a little giddy over the first stop in their Floating Isles tour. After cleaning up the mess of a trio of trolls - and a slight tangent on the merits of meta-gaming classic monsters - our heroes set off to explore this thick, forest island. Tobias goes head over heals for some magic-draining lizard-folk, Magnus coaxes Boddington into conversing with a predatory narwal, and Violette is left to wonder how halflings are wired as Terro finds a hapless deer to be a worthy opponent.
... in which Jake and Mako get a little bit into the meta of a campaign's story evolution. The party is now 7th level, and they're taking a definite step towards a more heroic tier. In the past, this has been either the beginning of a new chapter for their campaigns ... or the beginning of the end. But worry not! We still get to live a little in the moment: the first stop on the Floating Isles finds what on its shores?? ... TROOOOLLLLLLS!!!
… in which Jake and Mako return to the darkness from whence they came. It's resolution time for those adventurers that remain in the Shadow Plane in pursuit of the Star Powder/Dust. Tobias disappears … or did he transmogrify into that colorful bag of tasty-lookin' eats? Violette stumbles upon a hellish abyss; Magnus finds that his leg would much rather just be a shadow; Boddington plays with his spyglass; and George and Terro become a tribute duo to Foo Fighters! Okay, that's kind of a stretch of a reference, but you'll get it!
… in which Jake, Mako, Meg, and Nicole find that there's a lot more to talk about when the gaming table is in full attendance. Don't worry … there will be only ONE two-part podcast this campaign! Violette recalls her experiences in the Astral Plane so that everyone can be jealous. It seems that the only plane the rest of us spend any time in is that dreary Shadow Plane that's completely void of all color! And that's exactly where everybody elects to go now that the Star Powder … er, Star Dust lies ever closer to reaching the vile clutches of Lord Neebar!
... in which Jake and Mako rely on Meg and Nicole for any semblance of an episode. Violette is still in liquid form and Boddington ran off in reply to a message left from Krist, the elder gnome. In other words, in the real world, the two of them were out of town and are now left with the collective narrative focus of the Baker Girls ... Kria help us!
